How to automate the tracking of organic rank for keywords:

1. First, you need to ensure that your keywords are currently being tracked.

2. From the left side bar, navigate to Keyword Ranking.

3. Click on the product you want to track. You will see a list of keywords for that product.

4. Toggle the tracking button to start tracking the organic rank for this keyword.

Now, you can create the automation rules to pause and reenable keywords.

5. From the left side bar, navigate to Automation > Bidding rule.

6. Select Create rule.

7. The first rule to create is for pausing top-ranking keywords. This helps reduce wasted spend on keywords you're already dominating.

8. Set rule priority to 110. This ensures the rule will always run even with multiple rules stacked within an ad.

9. Set this rule to trigger when there's at least 1 impression and the organic rank is between 1 to 4.

10. Set the rule to analyze the past 90 days.

11. Configure the rule to make a State change and set it to Paused.

12. Specify a rule name and click Create rule.

13. To create a second rule to re-enable paused keywords, repeat steps 7 to 9.

14. But this time, we'll set the rule to trigger when there's at least 1 impression and the organic ranking is 5 or more.

15. Set the analysis period to 90 days.

16. Configure the rule to make a State change and set it to Enabled.

17. Specify a rule name and click Create rule.

18. Select the ad group(s) to assign the rules and click Assign.

✅ Done.

Now you have ad groups that will dynamically change keyword status based on organic rank.

How to spot keywords with buyer intent and automate bid optimization:

1. From the left side bar, navigate to Keyword Ranking.

2. Locate the product you want to analyze.

3. You see all the keywords related to the selected product.

4. Filter these keywords by conversion delta (at least 5%) to find out which keywords are outperforming the market.

Note: A positive value means you're converting better than the market—more customers are buying your products.

You now have a list of keywords that have good conversion rates.

5. Look for keywords that have a low organic rank (i.e. 5 and above).

Tip: Don't scale keywords that are ranking high so you avoid cannibalizing organic sales.

6. Make sure you toggle this to track the keyword's organic rank.

7. Click the details tab to view a weekly breakdown of SQP data for the keyword "rattan chargers for dinner plates".

8. This keyword has generated 3 sales so far, which tells us that it has strong ranking potential.

To drive more traffic to this keyword, we must increase the bid. Let's automate that.

9. From the left side bar, navigate to Automation > Bidding rule.

10. Select Create Rule.

11. Set the rule to trigger for keywords with an organic rank of 5 or more.

12. Configure the rule to analyze data for 4 weeks and specify the SQP data.

Note: Filter for keywords with at least 100 query volume and 5% conversion delta.

13. Specify the ASIN condition of at least 2 purchases.

14. Specify the data analysis period (30 days) and observation period (7 days) respectively. This prevents over-adjustments if a change has already been made in the past 7 days.

15. Define the rule action to adjust bids toward a target ACOS of 60%, with maximum adjustments of 10%. This would maintain a bid that allows you to appear in Top of Search placement.

Pro tip: You can also bundle a Top of Search (ToS) placement rule to inch down placement if the keyword performance doesn't improve.

16. Specify a name for the rule and select Create rule.

17. Select the ad(s) to apply your new rule and select Assign.

✅ Done.

Here's How to Set It Up 📋

We're building two things: an auto-negation system that catches waste at the search term level, and a view that shows you the full damage across all campaigns.

Part 1: Auto-Negate Non-Converting Search Terms

This automatically negates search terms when they hit your waste threshold (e.g. 10 clicks, 0 orders). Not just in one campaign—everywhere.

1. From your Scale Insights account, navigate to Ads Insights.

2. Select Search terms, then the Search terms tab.

3. Filter for the troublemakers:

Orders: 0 orders → Apply filter.

Clicks: At least 10 clicks → Apply filter.

Keyword match type: Broad + Phrase → Apply filter.

4. Set lookback: 60 days

5. You're now looking at every search term burning clicks with zero conversions. Example: "clear treat boxes" with 41 clicks, $20.75 wasted.

6. Select all underperforming terms, Bulk edit, Add to ad group as negative exact.

✅ Current bleed stopped.

7. To automate it, navigate to Automation.

8. Select Negative rule > Create rule.

9. Name it: "[Ad Group] Negate ST 10 clicks, 0 orders".

10. Set trigger: 10 clicks, 0 orders.

11. Source: Ad Group (aggregates at ad group level)

12. Action: Add as Negative Exact.

13. Click Create.

14. Select the ad group(s) to apply your new negative rule and click Assign.

✅ Done.

Auto-negation active. Waste gets killed at 10 clicks automatically.

Part 2: Aggregate Performance Across Campaigns

This shows you each search term's TOTAL performance across all campaigns—so you see the full picture, not fragments.

1. From your Scale Insights account, navigate to Ads Insights.

2. Select Search terms and set the lookback period to the last 60 days.

3. Select the Details to view aggregated performance at the product level.

4. Set filters:

Clicks: ≥ 20 clicks

Orders: ≤ 0 orders

5. You're now seeing search terms that looked "fine" individually but are disasters collectively. Example: "chocolate boxes empty" — 41 clicks, 0 orders, $16.79 wasted.

6. Click on Details to see campaign breakdown.

Example The term "chocolate boxes empty" ran in 3 campaigns.

Campaign A: 24 clicks (it's flagged)
Campaign B: 13 clicks (below your threshold)
Campaign C: 4 clicks (below your threshold)

If you'd optimized campaign by campaign, you would've missed B and C.

7. Select the term and negate across all campaigns where it appears.

✅ Done. Cross-campaign waste visible and eliminated.

How to set this up in Scale Insights:

1. From your Scale Insights account, navigate to Automation.

2. Select Status rule > Create rule.

3. Name it something like "Pause Campaigns When Stock <= 100".

4. Set it to trigger ads with at least 1 impression.

5. Set the Maximum stock in inventory to 100. This rule only triggers when stock levels hit 100 and below.

6. Under New campaign status, select Pause.

7. Under New ad group status, select Unchanged. This ensures that the rule doesn't make any other changes to the ad.

8. Click Create.

9. Select the ad(s) you wish to apply the new status rule to and click Assign.

✅ Done. Safety net active.

Your campaigns auto-pause when stock reaches 100 units or less.

New Features

1. Automation: Bulk deletion of Rules and Strategic Objectives

You can now delete multiple rules and Strategic Objectives at once from their respective lists.

Select the desired rules or Strategic Objectives and click the "Delete" button.

Navigation: Automation > Algorithms, Strategic Objectives

A confirmation message will appear to verify your action.

When rules are deleted, they will be removed from their associated Strategic Objectives and unassigned from any linked ad groups.

Deleting a Strategic Objective will unassign it from all ad groups where it is currently used.

2. Ads Insights: Portfolio Modification

Manual updates to portfolio details are now available on the Ads Insights Portfolio page.

This new feature allows you to edit the portfolio name, budget cap, start and end dates, and the budget cap cycle.

For portfolios with existing values, click on the budget or date fields to make changes.

To add budget cap details, select the portfolio(s), click the "Bulk Edit" button, and choose "Date range and budget cap."

Navigation path: Ads Insights > Performance > Portfolios tab

A pop-up window will let you set the desired budget cap cycle.

You can also remove the budget cap using the Bulk Edit feature.

3. Ads Insights: Enabled ASIN Search terms Negation

The Search Terms page now shows ASIN search terms from Auto, Product, and Category targeting campaigns.

You can manually negate these ASIN search terms directly from the page.

Select the ASIN search terms you want to negate, click the "Bulk Edit" button, and choose "Add to ad group as negative product target" from the drop-down menu.

Navigation: Ads Insights > Search Terms > Search Terms tab

4. Ads Insights: Added Blacklist and Whitelist toggles on the Main Words page

Words can now be added directly from the Main Words page to the Blacklist or Whitelist as Negative Phrase keywords using the toggle buttons.

Navigation: Ads Insights > Main words

Once enabled, the word is automatically added to the corresponding negative phrase list of the associated ASIN.

5. Introduced an Interactive Software Guide

An interactive guide has been integrated into the platform to assist users in navigating key features and utilizing them more efficiently.

For instance, we have added a software tour showing how you can "Pause "keywords with 0 Sales" inside the Ads Insights page.

The knowledge base and the system announcements are also accessible from the resource hub.

Enhancements

1. Keyword Ranking: Added filter and sort button on the Keyword rank data

The keyword rank data now has a sort and filter button, allowing you to easily identify keywords based on their organic rank performance.

2. Automation: Added file upload status on Bulk Automate ASINs

We've added a status message to show when a file is being processed.

This enhancement indicates that the upload is in progress and eliminates the need to resubmit the file.
